Nyanza and Kigali
For several years Emilie’s Charities’ sponsorship covered the education costs of a number of high school children at a school in Rwanda.
We later began sponsoring the education of four youngsters with connections to the school, all of whom have now graduated.
We are currently supporting the studies of two secondary students.
The loan which we gave to one youngster to set up a hairdressing business has been repaid and the money is going to support other students. We supplied money to one of the above-mentioned graduates to set up an electronics workshop.
We paid the costs of a driving course for a young man who is hoping to be a guide.
One student, who we supported during her secondary studies, embarked on a law degree in 2023
