Children Welfare Association (CWA) Pokhara
The CWA is a home for orphans/abandoned children in Pokhara, Nepal. As well as continuing to support youngsters in the home, we have sponsored two boys who graduated in Environmental Sciences and Agricultural Science respectively and a young lady who has just finished her Business Administration studies. We have recently begun the sponsorship of two sisters, who will both be studying for Nursing degrees.
We were also able to provide funds to purchase photocells for the main building and to allow the completion of a workshop in the hostel adjacent to the orphanage and later a workshop in the building.
